You can clean just as well using homemade cleaning solutions made from essential oils, baking soda and vinegar. They're known as the ultimate all-purpose cleaners and can clean nearly any surface.

2. Air out your home, and diffuse a Spring diffuser blend. One of the easiest and best ways to bring a natural and clean feeling to your home is to simply air it out. 3. Get the musky smell out of your carpet with a all natural
Carpet Freshener – To make a carpet freshener, add 20 drops of lemon essential oil to a cup of baking soda. Stir well and let sit for an hour so the oils can be absorbed. Sprinkle over your carpet. Let sit for 20 minutes and then vacuum the powder for a super fresh carpet.

4. Keeping your air fresh. Do you use air fresheners to keep your house smelling nice?
Rather than buying ready-made fresheners, you can go with something completely natural, instead. Herbs and plants give off pleasant odors.
You can even consider making your own natural air fresheners with just a few ingredients:
8 drops lemon essential oil
8 drops lavender essential oil
6 drops ylang ylang essential oil
Water
4 oz spray bottle
Combine ingredients, shake well before using.

5. Prevent unnecessary dirt. You can also use spring cleaning time to bring out some new home rules created with prevention, instead of clean-up, in mind.
• Start with the floors and all the dirty, toxic materials that get brought in on your shoes.
Simply start a "no shoes indoors" policy and your house will stay cleaner in the first place.

6. Cleaning your furniture. You can even make your own wood cleaner and polish with all natural ingredients. Use a combination of olive oil and lemon essential oil to
clean and polish your wood furniture. This cleaner produces a shiny and pleasant smelling finish.

7. Get the mold out of your shower curtain and keep it off!
Shower Curtain Mold Destroyer – Mix together in a 16 oz spray bottle, 6 drops of eucalyptus essential oils and 8 drops of tea tree essential oil with water. Clean any mold that has built up on your shower curtain, Keep the bottle in the shower and spray on the curtain for a natural mold destroyer.

8. Disinfect your bathroom and kitchen faucets, not only will this all natural cleaner disinfect, it will make your faucets shine.
Faucet Cleaner- In a 8 0z spray bottle add 10 drops lavender essential oil and 12 drops lemon essential oil, then fill up with rubbing alcohol.

9. Sparkling clean toilet is something we all want, make your own toilet cleaning disc.
Toilet Cleaning Disc:
1 cups baking soda
1/3 cup citric acid
Essential oils of preference
•15 drops each of lemon essential oil and orange essential oil
• 20 drops of thieves essential oil
10 drops of lemon essential oil
A misting spray bottle with water.

Make your own thieves essential oil.

Mix the baking soda and citric acid in a glass bowl.
Slowly mist the dry power with water, mixing as you go.

You want to barely wet the powder to get it to stick together in the mold. Literally 1-2 sprays should be enough and too much will cause fizzing .

Add the essential oils and continue mixing.

When done mixing, you’ll need to separate this mixture into single use sizes. You can either use a 1 tsp measure and place them on a piece of parchment paper until they dry, or use a silicon mold.

Let dry overnight and carefully place in an airtight container or zip lock bag and use as needed.

10. Clean mirrors and windows streak free everytime with this DIY glass cleaner:
10 drops of lemon essential oil
1/2 cup of vinegar
Water
8 oz. Spray bottle
Combine the lemon essential oil with vinegar in a 8 oz spray bottle, fill the rest of the bottle with water. Make sure to shake the bottle before you use to mix the oil.
Now you are ready for some sparkling windows and mirrors!
