It’s got the perfect blend of sweet + savory + crunchy goodness and you’ll love every last bite of it.
INGREDIENTS
1 shredded lettuce
1 cup finely shredded Colby & Monterey jack cheese
4 tbsp. Dried cranberries & candied pecans
12 grape tomatoes (cut in half)
25 slices of banana peppers
4 tbsp. Sliced black olives
1 cup bacon bits (I use hormel)
1 cup croutons, coarsely chopped
Dressing
Zesty Italian dressing
You could use any vinegar based dressing. The beauty of making a salad, they’re so versatile and there’s always room to switch things up.
DIRECTIONS
In a bowl, toss together the shredded lettuce, grape tomatoes, black olives, banana peppers,cheeses, croutons, nuts, and bacon.
Season to taste with salt and pepper. Toss the salad with the dressing and serve.
